Property Description
The house is in the south of Italy in the region of Basilicata and near the towns of Policoro, Montalbano Ionico and Scanzano Ionico. Basically if you look at the boot shape of Italy we are in the instep about 80km from Taranto.
Doorways
The house was originally two apartments and they have been joined by a central doorway to make one house. Due to this fact the house has two separate outside doorways.
Overview
Inside the house has a total of 4 bedrooms,a fully fitted kitchen,a living room,a dining room and two fully fitted bathrooms.The way the property is laid out means it could easily be returned to two appartments if needed.
The total floor area of the house internally is 130 square metres.

On top of the house is a large roof garden and balcony accessed from an internal stairway, from this vantage point you have nice views over the gulf of Taranto as well as the mountains of the Polino national park.
Location
From the house it is about a 10 minute drive to any number of sandy beaches along the Ionian coast.
The house is situated in the historic centre of the town which dates back to medieval times. Next to the house is a small piazza with parking for a car and the shops etc are a minute walk away.
The nearest airports to here are at Bari and Brindisi, both fly in from the UK (Stansted) with Ryan Air and both are about 1 hour 20mins away in the car. Flights also come into Naples which is about 2.5 hours away.
